Annual sustainability reports

We commit to sustainability inside and outside Far Eastern University and our Group of Schools, so we vow to demonstrate:

Environment

            Protecting the environment and conserving its resources are our high-priority. Our managers ensure compliance with environmental laws. We also maintain green spaces, practice proper waste segregation and disposal, and encourage 鈥渃lean as you go.鈥�

            We guarantee that the following departments operate according to environment, industry, and legal standards: mechanical engineering and pollution control; electrical engineering and energy conservation; civil engineering and architectural design; and logistics.

Social

            We improve our social impact by embracing diversity, equity, and inclusion. We have established venues for gender and development and multi-faith meditation or prayer. We provide fair opportunities in our employment practices.

            We aim to make a substantive contribution to evidence-based policymaking through in-depth research and public discussion as we believe that enabling as many citizens as possible to engage in rigorous public debates on issues of significance to the larger population is an integral part of the education process.

Governance

            We are guided by the principles of transparency, legitimate purpose, and proportionality in processing the personal data of students, parents, employees, external parties, and other stakeholders. These principles guide us in the acquisition, use, and dissemination of the data.

            We adhere to the provisions of Republic Act No. 10173 or the Data Privacy Act of 2012, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, relevant policies and issuances of the National Privacy Commission, and all other requirements and standards for continuous improvement and effectiveness of personal data security management system.

            We provide our stakeholders and the general public timely, relevant, transparent, and accurate information. Filings with regulatory agencies, disclosures to the Philippine Stock Exchange, press releases, minutes of meetings, approved board resolutions, and other corporate information are made available to the stockholders and the general public after thorough review by the Compliance Officer, the Investor Relations Officer, the Corporate Secretary, and the President.
