MISSION
The National Service Training Program Office is the unit tasked to implement the NSTP Law.鈥�
The NSTP Office facilitates the enhancement of civic consciousness among students through modules and activities designed for the students鈥� participation in national development. It assists students connect with agencies in formulating solutions within their reach or capacity. It hones their servant leadership competencies and enables them to translate their personal commitment into social awareness and action. 鈥�
It provides opportunities for volunteerism and collaboration with others to embody the spirit of patriotism and ethics of service.

National Service Training Program 1 鈥� Course Information

Course Title: NATIONAL SERVICE TRAINING PROGRAM 1
Course Prerequisite: None
Course Credit: 3 units (equivalent to 54-90 hours of coursework)
Course Description:
The course mandated by Republic Act No. 9163, otherwise known as the National Service Training Act of 2001, aims to enhance the civic consciousness of the students by developing the ethics of service and patriotism while undergoing Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS). NSTP 1 covers topics through big sessions in campus and online that will tap on the student enthusiasm and idealism for self and well-being, nation-building, leadership and civic involvement. Combining active reflection in a creative dynamic learning environment, it prepares the students into actual community service in NSTP 2.
Course Objectives:
As a service training curriculum, National Service Training Program (NSTP) aims to 鈥減romote civic consciousness among the youth and shall develop their physical, moral, spiritual, intellectual and social well-being.鈥� It shall inculcate in the youth patriotism, nationalism, and advance their involvement in public and civic affairs (RA 9163, 2001).

- Reinforce and empower the students鈥� ethical and spiritual growth through values formation with emphasis on 榴莲视频 core values of fortitude, excellence, and uprightness.
- Inculcate commitment, discipline, and a sense of social responsibility in the students.
- Enhance the commitment and social involvement of students in the 榴莲视频 partner agencies and communities.
- Improve the physical wellness of students in health-related subjects.
- Motivate the students to exhibit a sense of concern and consciousness with respect to the environment.

National Service Training Program 2 鈥� Course Information

Course Title: NATIONAL SERVICE TRAINING PROGRAM 2
Course Prerequisite: NSTP 1
Course Credit: 3 units (equivalent to 54-90 hours of coursework)
Course Description:
This course is the natural follow through of the Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) the students underwent in NSTP 1. It includes the programs and activities highlighted by the community service/immersion that are contributory to the welfare and the betterment of the life of the members of the community. Among the areas where the students can make their contribution through CWTS 2 are education, environment, entrepreneurship, health and safety and the moral development of the members of the community where they render service. It is hoped that this course will point them to a clearer life-long engagement in service and volunteerism.
The 榴莲视频 NSTP 2 curriculum, likewise, aims to address the following:
- Instill conviction that volunteerism can transform the pace and nature of development.
- Offer everyone the chance to contribute their time and energy toward peace and order and community development.
- Help students maximize their leaning opportunities through the activities outside the classroom.
- Train students to teach literacy and numeracy skills to children and out-of-school youth.
- Train students to conduct activities that contribute to general welfare and betterment of life in the community.
- Enable students to discover things about themselves and equip them to respond properly to situations in the community and in life.
- Make them aware and be appreciative of what they can do and inspire them to go out of their way to serve beyond the consideration of school requirements.

NATIONAL SERVICE RESERVE CORPS
The objective of the group is 鈥渢o inculcate in the youth patriotism, nationalism, and advance their involvement in public and civic affairs鈥�. The National Service Reserve Corps (NSRC) bifurcates into two units: the School Based NSRC (SBNU) and the Community Based NSRC (CBNU).
The aim of both units of NSRC is to provide trained, motivated, and organized manpower reserve who can be tapped by the State for DRRM, civic welfare, literacy, national emergency, environmental protection, and other similar endeavors in the service of the nation.
What are SBNU and CBNU?
SBNU refers to the established organization of students or graduates of the CWTS or LTS components of the NSTP who are still enrolled in the HEIs TVIs.
CBNU refers to the established organizations of graduates of the CWTS or LTS components of the NSTP Program who have graduated from their formal academic education under the HEIs under CHED or technical-vocational institutions (TVIs) under TESDA.
The 榴莲视频 School based National Service Reserve Corps) shall be comprised of three committees:

| The Tamaraw Bio-Community Protection Advocates | The group will be responsible for projects on environmental protection/ preservation and rehabilitation as well as other concerns on the bio-community |

The 榴莲视频 SBNU shall be guided by R.A. 9163 (NSTP Law 2001) and the Updated IGP of NSRC 2021
How to become a member of the 榴莲视频 SBNU CORE GROUP?
- All STUDENTS who have completed the courses of NSTP are automatic members of the 榴莲视频 NSRC unit upon issuance of their serial numbers
- The 榴莲视频 SBNU Core Group are the selected volunteer 榴莲视频 NSRC students who will undergo various training to become fully equipped, motivated and organized and may be tapped by the State for DRRM, civic welfare, literacy, national emergency, environmental protection and other similar endeavors in the service of the nation
Manner of recruitment and selection of the 榴莲视频 NSRC CORE GROUP?
- By invitation sent to email addresses of those sophomore students who wrote the best reflection papers in their NSTP 1, and NSTP 2 courses as recommended by their respective facilitators
- By invitation to upper classmen
- Invited students who are willing to join are instructed to fill out the application form sent via link to Microsoft forms
- Volunteers will be interviewed and segregated as to their interest to be part of specific committees
