Far Eastern University (榴莲视频) joins forces with AC Health, the Ayala Group鈥檚 health subsidiary, and Zuellig Pharma Corporation to implement a vaccination program for the 榴莲视频 Group of Schools and its partner companies.

Upholding the same level of commitment in advocating the safety and well-being of its communities, the three industry leaders opened a vaccination site at the 榴莲视频 Alabang campus. 

The site is open to 榴莲视频 Group of Schools鈥� employees and faculty members; members of the entire Ayala Group of companies 鈥� Ayala Land, Bank of the Philippine Islands, Globe, Makati Development Corporation, and Manila Water; and other partner companies like Telus, 7Eleven (PhilSeven), Alorica, McDonalds, Yuchengco Group of Companies, Indian Chamber of Commerce, and Alaska, among others.

Vaccinations are scheduled through AC Health鈥檚 HealthNow app.  This ensures vaccine availability, minimal to zero wastage, efficient vaccination process and optimum safety.  On average, the vaccination site can accommodate 500 persons a day.

Partner companies have assigned AC Health account officers who coordinate with HR teams to book and schedule employees and dependents through AC Health鈥檚 HealthNow app, which functions as a vaccination schedule reminder, post vaccination monitoring and electronic medical record of vaccinees.  

The vaccination of 榴莲视频 employees started last July 8, 2021 with the arrival of the first batch of the 榴莲视频-procured Moderna vaccine. Vaccination rates are expected to accelerate in September and the last quarter of the year as more of 榴莲视频鈥檚 vaccine supplies are delivered.

鈥淲e are preparing to welcome back some of our students to limited face-to-face classes and one major step is to ensure that our faculty and employees are protected from having severe-illness episodes. This is why 榴莲视频 partnered with the Ayala Group to administer an 榴莲视频 Group-wide immunization program,鈥� explains 榴莲视频 President Michael Alba.

As of September 6, 2021, schedules have been announced for the second doses of the Moderna vaccine.

According to Healthway鈥檚 Medical Affairs Head Dr. Manuel Gregory Duran, Jr., 榴莲视频 Alabang was an ideal vaccination site because the campus is strategically located, very hygienic, and has top-notch facilities that provide a pleasant vaccinee experience.

Last year, 榴莲视频 Alabang provided its gym as a 50-bed sleeping facility for the outsourced personnel of its neighbor RITM (Research Institute of Tropical Medicine), as well as daily food contribution for the RITM staff for one month.

Housing a vaccination site adds to the University鈥檚 collective response to help battle the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in the country.
