Far Eastern University (Ƶ) has been recognized as one of the most innovative universities worldwide, joining Harvard University, Stanford University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the list.

The 92-year-old institution also placed , according to the WURI ranking system.

WURI is the first global innovative university ranking that evaluates educational institutions’ efforts and programs to help students in becoming effective leaders of today’s workforce.

According to the ranking system, . The university said FLJ, which was created in 2018, is for both students and educators to address the need to innovate in a fast-changing world.

Part of the Learning Journey is the “Bakit List”, which, according to the university, focuses on a student’s purpose, capability, resourcefulness, connectedness and culture.

“This unlocks each student’s full potential and stays true to Ƶ’s goal of producing effective leaders with global standards,” Vice President for Academic Services Joeven R. Castro said.

The Learning Journey framework can be accessed through its Learning Management System Canvas by both students and professors.

“Mentoring is always a work in progress and the Ƶ Learning Journey (FLJ) program resonates with that trajectory. The current FLJ design is a starting point and we will continue improving the program by working with different stakeholders and volunteers. More importantly, we are guided by a clear goal of helping students better understand their academic lifecycle, which includes their career and employment challenges and opportunities,” according to VP Castro.
